Urban Farming: Growing Big in Small Spaces

Afri-Lift promotes urban farming methods to ensure fresh food is accessible, teaching families to grow vegetables in small spaces. Their training covers various techniques like sack gardens and vertical towers, allowing even those in densely populated areas of Nairobi to cultivate nutritious produce and potentially earn extra income.

Youth Prison

In 2018 we started a partnership with a local Youth Prison. We work together with the chaplain and the officer in charge. They propose boys to us whom they believe would be a good fit to the farm or who have nowhere else to go.
