Afri-Lift works with the most disadvantaged families. These include those suffering from HIV/AIDS, orphans, those struck by poverty and hardship. When there are times of severe drought or famine, or when there is an unexpected crisis, Afri-Lift is able to be of assistance. This is not a continual feeding program, but an intervention in emergencies.
When Afri-Lift hosts international visitors, they often take a food parcel to a family. They sit and talk with them about what life is like in Kibera. After the food parcel is delivered there is an opportunity to encourage and pray for the family.
You can also help a family even if you are not visiting. You can donate $25 once and touch a family.
